Oil reduction issue

Dear Xperts!

My car is giving smoke at start (white color smoke). It is also reducing oil. I used Castrol GTX and I had to put 0.5 litre after 1500Km. What should be the solution now? Someone told me that Motor Protect of Liquimoly can solve the issue as it creats a coating on engine which helps to solve the problem and others say that I should change rings and pistons.
