Panel Alignment, Doors & Body Fitment
Panel Alignment, Doors & Body Fitment
Uneven panel gaps, misaligned doors/hood/trunk, o r poor quality body‑fitment can indicate manufacturing defects, rough usage, o r earlier damage — which could affect structural integrity o r lead to leaks/noise.
Do all doors, hood, trunk and other body‑panels close and align properly even gaps all around? Any signs of uneven gaps, difficulty closing/opening, o r misalignment?
Are there any weird noises creaks, rattles around doors, hood o r boot when driving on rough roads, which could hint at loose panels o r weak fitment?
After repeated use o r over time, do body‑parts remain secure and sealed — i.e. no loosening of trims, no water leaks, no worsening misalignment?

Gari Master - on 06 Dec 2025 11:52:31 amA fairly common complaint from some owners is that panel fitment doors, bonnet, boot/trunk, side panels sometimes feels “less precise” — i.e. gaps may not be perfectly uniform, doors/hood/boot may not close with the crisp feel you’d expect from higher‑end cars.

Because of this looser fitment, on rough roads the doors o r body‑panels may creak o r produce slight rattling noises — which may over time worsen, especially if the car frequently hits bumps o r potholes.

Overall: Some units seem to have acceptable body‑fitment, but there seems to be variation — before buying/accepting a used Tiggo 4, its wise to check all doors/hood/boot carefully for even gaps and test by closing/opening them several times to ensure proper alignment and sealing.
