Passo 16 ECO-IDLE, Crank, fuel average, battery? Issues
Passo 16 ECO-IDLE, Crank, fuel average, battery? Issues
I have Passo 2016 and I have driven it 106km.
From last two months, I am facing issues with my car.
Now Eco Idle is not properly working.
The fuel consumption of my car is reduced to 12-14km/l from 22-26
When I start the car, it takes much time to start, this issue is occurring since last 2 weeks. But the issue comes sometimes and sometimes car starts perfectly.
I visited to Toyota Defense in Karachi where the mechanic suggested me to change the battery and said issue will be resolved. But the issue is still there even after replacing my car battery.
Then I took my car to a local mechanic and he cleaned the throttle body and spark plugs. After that the acceleration improved but the issues like Eco Idle, crank, fuel average are still there. The mechanic said that there might be a fuel pump failure.
Tyers are standard. I replace engine after every 5000km, other oils are prefect. Kindly help me to get rid of this problem.

ECO IDLE vehicles are equipped with a small capacitor-style battery located under the front driver o r rear passenger seat. If you are experiencing any issues with your vehicle, it is likely related to this battery. Before seeking out a mechanic to diagnose and fix the problem, consider visiting a workshop with a scanner that can retrieve codes. In many cases, simply fixing the battery will resolve the issue. Its worth noting that the manufacturer recommends replacing the capacitor battery after five years from the date of its original manufacture. Good luck!
