Petrol average Liana

My Liana LXI is giving me around 7 km/litre in city driving (Karachi) with AC on. Tyres are Yokohama C-Drive 195/60/14. Driven 2000 km.
Method of calcualtion: Fill tank, reset trip meter, drive till reserve light shows up, refill tank and note the trip meter reading.
Petrol Average=Trip Meter Reading divided by amount of fuel during refillng.
eg. 340 km divided by 45 litres= 7.5 km/litre

Looks pretty low, should be at least 10 km/litre. Please share your experience.

I think most of the guys reporting high averages are not calculating it porperly.

After 5000km service, now I'm getting 10km/litre with 100% AC on, in Karachi.

Improvement in road conditions has helped a lot, in addition to the service/tuning.
