Petrol Knocking

hello brothers my 1.6 gli gives knocking when it petrol it sound like trrr-trrrrrr from 2-4 rpm after that on noise and also there is no noise coming when in CNG.

2. Second i am not happy with my cng milage it is 100-120km in one cylinder what can i do and yes it is in manual transmission.

Help will be appreciated

hello!
its a fact that petrol must knock when timing is advanced.......or say much advanced for CNG..1.6 Gli has got Distributor type ignition system which can be advanced and retire manually...so CNG definately needs advancing...so when you convert it on petrol timing is much advanced for petrol as it runs on max 4 degrees whereas its now 15 or 17 degrees which actually cause it to knock.....so try getting advancer comes in FF Cultus which returns to the petrol timing when switch to petrol and advance it when on CNG...so it must help you....if you are in karachi getting this milage...its good i must say...here pressure and gas quality is much bad as its 60% better in quetta peshawar isb and adjoinings....
