Police & Ambulance Illusion

Why are the words �Police� and �Ambulance� on police and ambulance vehicles mostly written from L 2 R instead of R 2 L? Why in the opposite or reverse way? Does it make sense in doing so?.

I�ve observed the same thing written on:

Edhi Ambulances
911 Helicopters
Lifeguard Jackets
Fire Fighting Vehicles

But the point is why?

Well I Know The Answer...
Because when you use your Side mirrors you get the reflected Image thus making it easier to read and react to the Situation....
I got this answer from one of the books
