Prius Coolant and Gear Oil

Toyota Prius is added with the coolant and the gear oil and they need to change it after some time. Please help me to tell whether it should be changed o r not and also tell me which gear oil is best for Prius and after how much time, you can get it changed.

Gear oil needs to be changed every 40k kms. Toyota genuine atf ws to be used only.
