Problem needs a solution!!!

i have alto vxr2007 .......... the problem is related to engine oil.......i have been using TOTAL QUARTZ9000 5w40......and the problem wat i m facing is that the oil level drops very rapidly though the engine is in good condition....as there is no issues with rings , pistons etc........and also there is no leakage........what reason can it be that the oil levels drop so fast(oil kam hujata hai)..i m really confused to how to sort it out..........

can it be because of using oil of wrong grading..as suzuki recomends 20W50 i guess........so waiitng for reply
