Problem wit Woofer n amp settings

I Have a woofer installed in my car.

Now whenever i switch on my car(1st step) the woofer makes a sound (like dhup).

I jus wanted to ask if this sound is normal or there is a problem in the settings or sumthing?

do this noise come when u start car or when the ignition is turned on? if the noise come when u start the car then install a coil on the power wire (ask any good car audio shop and he can give you under 200 Rs for this job).
