Problem with vitz!

the automatic shift on my 99 vitz is messing up give a grunt noise when yaa change gears also its drinkin fuel alot sent it twice 2 toyota capital came with a bill but no improvemet now its slugish and slow at times and times perfectly fine no problems any know a good mechanic of vitz as mine aint around here gone on holiday.

gear oil, fuel filter, air filter changed and new?
dont know whether u went through this thread i posted where a vitz was giving terrible fuel average and bad top speed. its cat converter was choked. got rid of it and it went f9
