Problems :(

Hey guys,

I am facing wierd sound problem with my Suzuki cultus,

When I start my car from a cold state it doesnt starts in the first attempt, i had to try it 3-4 times. My car is on petrol

Secondly whenever i put the reverse gear for the first time after starting the car it make a wired sound like the one coming when clutch is not pushed completly.... after running car for a minute or two that sound never comes....

Thirdly I gave my car for servicing yesterday, mechanic changed the back break shoe, oils, n filters. Today when i was driving i feel like my cars speed is slower.

Fourthly the mechanic said both of my silencer tolkies are in bad shape, how to check that, my car is making a noise probably due to silencer but its not too much and it started a week ago.

1. engine does not start on 1st attempt: asking for tunning.
2. reverse gear gives weird sound : check gear oil level but probably u ve put thick oil in. use multi viscosity oil.
3. brake service caused issues: check handbrake functionality n run it in netral gear and guess from the stopping distance it takes, need brake adjustment.
4. cultus' been always noisy, u may check exhaust piping, do u hear hissing sound on idling, probably a loose joint somewhere in piping. btw it could be one of the reasons u feel a retarded response from ur car, ur brakes might just be okay.
