Purchasing an engine

i m interested in buying a charade G-11 engine from sher shah(khi),can someone plz guide me how can we check a second hand engine,that has it been overhauled or is in original condition

Honestly telling you, there is not such paramter to check the remaining life of engine or how much % the engine is used.
they start the engine it is without silencer so many faults are hidden in that way of display. get a good mechanic with u, survey more shops for the engine. negotiate with them. a good quality engine with good life no overhaul is available here for 35k it is 1.0 litre with turbo and all working perfectly fine.
if u r going to swap a petrol engine with diesel in ur car, dont go for it. if it is genuine diesel then it is a wise decision.

spectra (saqib bhai) can help u better in this regard or talk to charterali who is in karachi even omararshad is looking for engines and cars nowadays so talk to these guys. may be one available to go with u.
