Purpose of strut bar ?

can anyone let me the the purpose of strut bar and for how much shud it be ?

The purpose of a strut bar is to stiffen the front end structure of the car without making it heavy.

This improves the precision of suspension movement and improves handling under high-g forces, mainly during cornering.

It is not needed for ordinary road cars, but is important in track use and rallying.
