Brake power loss by almost 50% when AC is turned on. Vehicle is Toyota Crown 1990 Petrol. What could be the possible reason?

mate, break systems are totally independant of the AC systems wheather it be disc or drum. When AC is turned on, ther is simply more load on the engine and how can u measure the brake power anyway? ther can be a variety of other factors such as torn out wheels, slippery road, brake shoes gone bad etc etc...
