Question regarding Airbag

Guys I was coming home in my car.Suddenly the airbag indicator started flashing (on and off) . I think it encountered a problem.Then I parked my car aside on bus stop and turned off the engine.I restarted the engine and light came on for a second as usual and no more flashing.

Now I don't know what exactly happened when it started flasing and no flashing later?

I know if it flashes then there is problem with it but it went ok later automativcally.

can someone explain about this?

ur air bag sensor had a loose connection, i know this as i had the same prob in my 96 bmw 318i and u can only fix it by replacing the sensor but as u say it was rectified by switching the car off and turning it back on ...so until the light comes on completely for good until then no worries just do one thing disconnect the -ive terminal of the battery over nite once it will reset the ecu but u have to put the codes back in the radio to activate it so be careful dont disconnect the battery till u have the codes......
i hope it will rectify all issues and dont worry its not a big thing till it completely stays on for good
