" CHECK ENGINE " light.

Guys i've been taking my Hyundai Galloper Exceed on many water and mud adventures after the recent rains here... The result is that i got a "CHECK ENGINE" light. It goes on anytime during the drive and then stays for a few minutes and then goes off. Usually goes on during the deacceleration and goes off on acceleration but not necessarily.

I checked the users manual and it said " CHECK EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM ".

I dont wanna take any risks on my darling's health...... u know what i mean

SO

can someone please explain WTF is this emission control system and what do i do to it to get rid of this light.

@ all the techies of the website consider me a novice and please advise me.

"CHECK ENGINE" there is electronic problem some where,suggest you to take the vehicle to a good auto elec and then he can daignose the fault by pluging into the computer.
