Rain Issues - Preventive tips

As the moonsoon finally arrived in Karachi, it would be great if the experts can share preventive tips for cars, especially when one get stuck in rain or flowing water.

By the way, I have noticed rust around the engine after the rainfall, what to do about it?

plz search older forums regarding driving in such conditions, some time back i saw in 4x4 forums.

anyways, ur ignition system should be protected, and avoid going in deep water as intake'd suck air through air cleaner ususally their duct goes in side fender, and keep clutch half pressed to avoid clutch slippage, but roads in this flooding are so unpredictable so u r always on risk.

if u love ur car then i'd suggest dont take it out

rusting u saw might be @ exhaust manifold, so dont worry thats no rusting, its the color of that metal. cast iron/aluminium blocks dont get rust (whatever engine ur veh have).
