Rattling/Knocking kind of sound

Rattling/Knocking kind of sound

Hi everyone
I have 2006 model Toyota Belta 1.3 2SZ-FE. I have had this car for 2 years and I am driving it since that time. The car is currently giving me an excellent fuel average within the city which is 12-13 km. I have not driven the car on the highway yet.
After a year now I am facing an issue with my car. The issue is that when I accelerate and speed up the car it produces sounds like knocking/rattling same as the sounds that can be heard in a manual transmission when picking up speed on a high gear. It occurs occasionally but now I am facing this issue on daily basis when I start driving the car.
I have visited various workshops and checked it from different mechanics and I also scanned my car. but even after scanning, there was no issue found in the car. Now the mechanics are asking me to check the CATALYTIC CONVERTER. Should I do this? Is this the right way to find out the actual issue in the car? o r do I have to check something else?
I will be really grateful to all of you if anyone can guide me and give suggestions on what to do in this situation. Thanks

It could be your clogged MAF sensor and deposits in CC. I would suggest you to clean your MAF Sensor through CARB Cleaner and get it diagnosed for Ignition Advance Patterns.
