Regarding speed of power windows

hi guys how r u all. i just want to share ma problem with u and just want the solution of this problem. actually i have margalla 96 model having power windows. the problem is that windows usually stuck while going up. but when the windows are going down their speed are good but when u want to close them then many time they got stuck on the mid way and one has to push them up. so pls tell me the d.i.y solution for that. i asked many mechanics but all say that u have to go for channel cleaning. haan one thing more. wht ma dad did is that one day he opened up the doors and oil the channels. the result was that they started working very good but after two days the windows again started stucking. so pls tell me the soultion of this problem.

i suggest u do the following:

power windows ususally have rubber tracks inside the doors...so i suggest u spray them with some spray type silicone grease. dont use that heavey grease paste...you need a spray so that it reaches all minor locations.

second...check the contacts on the motor for build up of dust/dirt/carbon....clean it with mild wet cloth.

i dont know what to say regarding the windows getting stuck half way....that can be a number of reasons....do u hear a whine sound that the motor makes...like as if it is trying to move the window up but is struggling....

it will have to be opened by a mechanic who knows power window mechanisms. if all else fails...get a new one from suzuki.
