Replacing Carburator with Direct fuel injectors

Replacing Carburator with Direct fuel injectors

my mechanic told me that i need to replace my car Accord 1987's carburator i would like to ask from my pakwheels fellows whether i should replace my old carburator with new one or is it possible to replace it with simple / direct fuel injectors NOT EFI and what could be the cost of opting either of these two options (My car is on CNG)

you must be talking about Direct Injector for CNG...not injectors....!its simple.....they drilled hole in carb and install injector type thing over there on which gas supply pipe was installed fron inside....it replaces the venturi.....!
results in quick start and some better pickup....! but keep in mind.....drilling hole in carb means you are ruining your carb...!it can also cause some carb crack....!some expert is needed to do so.....or you carb is wasted...!
if you are not facing any problem on venturi type.......no need to do that!
its not recommended...as Venturi's are made for that purpose!
