S it normal for MG HS windows to move slowly o r get stuck halfway?

Ive noticed that the windows in my MG HS, especially the rear ones, move very slowly and sometimes even get stuck halfway when rolling up. This seems worse in hot weather o r after the car has been parked in the sun. Is this a common issue in Pakistan? Could it be due to faulty motors o r window tracks?

No, slow-moving o r stuck windows are not normal and can be frustrating. This issue is seen in some MG HS units in Pakistan, especially during extreme weather o r after a few months of use.

Causes:

Dry o r Dirty Window Tracks: Dust and debris build-up in the window channels can cause resistance.

Weak o r Overheating Motor: A weakening motor can’t push the glass up smoothly.

Lack of Lubrication: Pakistani weather heat, dust, humidity can dry out the rubber window seals.

What to do:

Use silicone spray o r grease on the window channels never use oil-based lubricants.

Visit the service center to check the motor and regulator.

Try to avoid using windows excessively in extreme heat to prevent motor overheating.
