Santro A/C Problem plz help

@all Experts plz guide

i have visited today an AC wala, for my problem of A/C blower not blowing much air. he checked the gas and told me that gas is sufficient, he then told me that the bottle (dont know the actual name) have to be replaced and the problem will be solved and it will cost Rs. 5000 (for the gas recharge and labor) + other parts charges like bottle replacement. my A/C is currently perfectly giving good cooling but the blower is weak. so is it necessary to change/service that bottle? and what is the function of that bottle? thanks in advance

his advice seems strange. the dryer bottle has got not much to do with the blower of the a/c. if you are satisfied with the cooling and its like what it was from day one that this eliminates the gas, compressor, condenser and dryer bottle from the list.

now what you should do is get the blower of a/c checked from an electrician:
a) maybe the blower is weak and needs to be replaced.
b) also if the a/c cooling coil wasn't serviced in the last couple of years then it means that maybe it is choked with dust etc. in this case you will have to get the cooling coil, blower etc cleaned and this will require refilling of the a/c gas.
