Santro Heating up
Aoa, Have a problem with Santro Prime GV ( 14000 km done only, with regular oil/filter change). it gets heated up at high speeds above 140 with or without AC. At about 4000 km the problem first appeared. Got it checked , everything was fine ( fan timing, thermostat valve, temperature sensor) but they changed temperature sensor anyway and it resolved ( it used to get heated up at above 110 then). Few days back on motorway I noticed it still gets heated up but at speed faster than 140. Doesn't get heat up in city with AC on or even idle with AC on. Someone plz help me out. What can be the problem..

Do you regularly check your coolant level in the radiator?
1)Engine will heat up if you have low coolant level in the radiator. Also check the coolant level in the expansion bottle.
2)Check for coolant leak, radiator leak, cracked hoses.
3)Check water pump for leaks.
4)Radiador cap gasket.
5)The coolant level in the expansion bottle should be somewhere between the "Low" and "Full" marks.
6)If the level frequently falls below "LOW" after adding fluid, you probably have a leak and should have it checked as soon as possible.
7)Usuallay the coolant mixture we put in radiator is 50/50, in hot weather you can make it 60/40, 60% water and 40% coolant.
