Seeking advice on a couple of problems

Hey, my cousin has a rear spoiler on his ride, of which he wants to get rid of, he says they drilled some holes onto the trunk.. so he wants to know what can he do about those?
Secondly, my car exhaust sound is just getting a little too loud... I want to lower it down a bit, I could defnitely use some help on "how to do that"?
