Shaan CNG vs Al Mubarik CNG vs CNG Complx(rwp/isb)

i wanted to share my personal experience with above mentioned. hope it proves to be helpfull for the rest of the gari.pk!

i will start with my lastest visit to Shaan CNG

i went to them couple of days back and found there diagnosis skills to be really good. the wirrings and settings were a total mess in my car (all related to cng)

i decided to take sometime out over the weekend and let them fix things. they started off with throtle body service. then the electrician highlighted that instead of Emulator, relays are being used to cut off fuel supply when on CNG and the device which was thought to be a Emulator turned out to be an advancer!

the extra Advancer was removed. when spark plugs were removed to be clean (Bausch 4 tip), the owner claimed the plugs are Pakistani ! and offered his version of bausch plugs 750 rupee EACH ! ! ! i refused ( i know i bought the plugs myself and they are genuine)

the owner suggested maybe the lambda is not working fine, they did a quick fit of there own lambda but car behaved the same ( there own lamdba was taken off, there were not happy about it though)

Then there electrician said the Servo motor has a problem. the gate gets stuck during operation causing the problem. he changed the PVR motor, but car behaved the same, i got mine installed back.

The electrician claimed the MAP and TPS wire were swapped wrong. he fixed it. the kit was opened to check for problems. the high pressure diaphram was slightly deformed and hence replaced.

the car behaved better(stable idling and smooth switch over from petrol to gas) on non motorised gas Tee. the electrician brought another PVR motorised Tee and the car was fixed !

total work done

1) wirings cross checked and re done where necessary
2) power Tee changed which works with the Lambda
3) high pressure diaphram changed

it took them 9 hours flat to diagnose and fix the car after which

1) gas is leaking from the kit
2) engine check light shows up ocassionally



can anyone guess how much they charged me ?

here is the bill i recieved from them

tuning/wiring/iddling setup 6000
high pressure diaghram 1000
power Tee for lambda 5000


its a total rip off !
