Should i get AC worked keeping in view engine condition

Salam

Friends i have charade 86 diesel turbo. engine gives blow when i open oil cap but till now it is running fine no overheating issues . please suggest me should i get the AC back to working again. i bought the car at the end of last season and haven't got it worked till now
