Sindh Number Plate Issue Help!

Sindh Number Plate Issue Help!

I bought an Alto recently and was able to transfer ownership under my name without any issues. However, Ive hit a roadblock in trying to get my number plate from the local excise office.

They informed me that someone else has already taken it. This news has left me feeling disappointed, especially because I worked hard to afford this car. Can you provide any suggestions o r advice on how to quickly resolve this situation? Thank you in advance.

You have the option of obtaining a new number plate white for a fee of 7500, which will not contain any duplicates. In my case, I got my Sportage registered through a third party who claimed to have the number plates, and asked me for 10000 rupees at the time. I was unaware that yellow number plates were issued by the excise department and assumed that the plates were still with them.

However, upon trying to claim a white number plate recently, I was informed that yellow number plates had already been issued for my vehicle.
