I have alto 2003. Since past few days, shortly after I start driving, I feel smell like that of burning or something like emmitted by hot iron. I am unable to find the exact location from where it emits although I feel more it near dicky on the driving side and at front door opposite driving seat? Can anyone able to tell me the possible causes?

Check the exhaust pipe. Sometimes a shopping bad can get tangled on it and it melts due to heat of the exhaust which could explain the burning smell.
