Smell of CNG

Smell of CNG

hi all,
during driving, some times at 20 some times at 60-80km/hr and sometimes in between
i can smell the smell of CNG....
went to get it checked... the mechanic applied SURF excel i mean some surf type ki cheez to check the leakage but dint find the leakage anywhere...

what cud be the possible cause of the smell ??

i think it might be getting leak from the place where carbourater k oooper jahan cng pipe is attached to the carb... but not so sure...
any sujjestions???

hello!
yeah......check all cylinders valves and piping for leakage....the best way to check external leakage is to also make some bubbly water from surf and apply on all the piping and every fitting of CNG piping and valves....if its leak...it will bubble from there.....also you can check pressure from guage installed near regulator at night and note it down..in morning check that wheather its decreased or not.......if not...and still you fell some smell....check for the regulator leakage or venturi or injector(whatever you have) leakage...start engine and open hood ane feel from one of the places.....also back from CYl.........its odour is much more.....don't drive...it maybe risky.........
