Some Great Tips....

How to check a good Oil:


Any oil that can flow easily (is less viscous) can be good oil if its also the tendency to stick to the place... what i mean to say it... the oil should be able to flow easily from one place to another but once it went over a spot , the spot should remain really sticky... Oil should also have a mild colour... the more clear the Oil is the better it should be as you know when the colour darkens (turns black and very viscous) you need to change the oil.... Another way to check wether the oil you are using is good or bad... Opend the top of the engine... if you see small black deposites in the inside of the engine this means that SLUDGE is being formed in the engine ( Sludge is formed when oil breaks up a high temp.)... In Pakistan usually the climate is hot.. as a result engine heat a lot and sludge is formed.. but if a good oil is used small volumes of sludge is formed.. (SLUDGE was also known as "BLACK DEATH" in 80`s).. .its very bad for engines.. but not in small volumes... So use good oil... I will recommend all of you Zic A+.... Its also affordable (costs around 1600) and have good mileage.. Its usually written 5000 km but I change it around 4000 - 4500...


Use good OIL for cars..


Always use Coolant ( the green one) in your radiator.. The mechancs in Pakistan usually say its not required but it is req. for a vital funtion as it stop the inside of a radiator from rusting... It is of great importance.. Always put at least 3 bottles of the green coolant in your radiator.


Check tire pressure... Almost everyone here (in PK) when we go the tire shop we tell them to just fill the air... They all have a stand. pressure which is around 48 psi... (THAT`S ********).. Every tyre due to its own shape has it own pressure written on it.. Please always read from the tire and tell those idiots to fill only that much.. This is one of the main reason of Tire burst in Pakistan (esp. on high speed as when you are speeding the friction increases and tires heat up.. as a result air in the tire greatly expand and burst the tires...) this can be a realy life saving tip...





Keep cleaning your spark plugs after every 1500 to 2000 Km (if you can`t afford to buy new ones).. your engine will not need tuning again and again..


For Racers...:


Every racer I have seen here wants to turbo charge his car.... I would also like to advice you people don`t just add turbo to your car.. .another way to greatly incrase your cars pickup and also increase the life of the engine is to add a COLD AIR INTAKE UNIT.. they are although costly but the guys who can afford themm... its a good piece of hardware.. engine won`t heat up and it will also increase up ur hp around 10 - 30 Hp.... not bad and will also increase your economy a bit....
