Some urgent info needed

Today at around 5-6 ... my car started to give this little problem.

It would stall after 1-2 minutes ... and the stall was just like an engine stalling when its out of fuel.

It would take 5-6 mintues to again start and do the same thing ... whether the car was constantly in revv or on idle.

I wasnt there ... but my dad took it to Honda South thinking it would have been a small problem. The Honda peeps hoooked it up and after checking said the distributor needs to be replaced and costs a mega 25,000

Now im doubting their price ... and the fault too.

Anyone got any idea as to whats wrong ? The car was running fine in the morning ...

Oh ... and its a 2001 Honda City EXi Manual. Maintained very nicely with fuel changes every 3000-4000km and care and loved for. Hehe .

yeah thats rite 25K for just a distributor...wtf..............it must be something else.......!! and if its distributor.....it won't cost that much........!
HONDA 3S are like blood suckers.......don't ask them for any thing or they will tell u high rates....! ask from market........!
if its distributor..............that must be ignition to engine which is cutting out.......!!!and as current won't passed fuel won't ignite........
its bit doubtful but it maybe distributor or maybe something else..........as u say cars runs fine in morning..........so if distributor was ruined up......it won't run............ther's CDI coil inside it which stores current and then send it to ingition........if that Coil was messed up....ignition won't work............!!
better get it also checked with some expert mechanic......!
