Sound from belt

Sound from belt

hi all
there is a sound from the belt that rotates over the generator and somewhere in the engine

i got the water body changed 2 weeks ago and since then its coming

one more thing... in the morning when i start the car there is a sound ghaarrr silent ghaarr repeat

i opened the bonut and looked at the generator, seems like the belt is extra tight or something like that but the generator is actually moving some centimeters from its position in every revolution of the belt....

but when the car gets a bit hot i mean after a lil run that sound vanishes

any guidance?

why and what?

thanks in advance

btw car is hyundai excel 1.3

There are two possibilities:

1. The timing belt is tense and since you have replaced the water body and the person has mis-judged the belt's tension. It needs adjustment

2. The alternator belt might be tense since you examined it physically and it needs adjustment.

Go to your mechanic to fix the problem.
