Spraying carburator cleaner on rotor

i sprayed some carburator cleaner on all 4 brake rotors,, is that a good thing or bad?( i was trying to clean rotors)
or donest make a difference .?

it didnt make any difference in braking

Dont do it is all Id say.

It might damage the brake linings. Use a sandpaper of appropriate grade to clean the dics.

Btw special products are available for this, you might get those.
