Steering-System Reliability & Noise / Vibration — Are there mechanical o r sensor-related issues affecting steering over time?

Have owners reported unusual noises when turning the wheel clunks, squeaks, knocking that suggest wear in the steering rack, tie-rod ends, o r bushings?
Is there vibration o r shaking felt through the steering wheel, especially when driving over rough roads, uneven surfaces o r at higher speeds?
