Strange Sound.

I have 2005 Cuore CX Eco, 24800 Km driven.

while on my way back home, i heard a strange sound coming from the car.

First of all, the area around n just behind the hand brake felt very hot, it felt like something was steaming. And thats where i think the sound was coming.

The sound always comes when in 3rd or 4th gear. When at the 4th gear speed abt 60 - 65km, i slightly released the the accelerator, thats where i heard a strange 'Humming' sort of sound, n some vibration too.

Any expert opinon.

might have someting to do with your electrical charging system (generator/alternator/dynamo etc). Have you checked to see what is under ther car in that spot?
