Subject : Can car engine replace home generator?

Dear gari.pk, I want to know whether it is possible to use car engine as a replacement of home generator?

I am asking this question keeping in view current and upcomming crisis of electricity in Paksitan.

What modification are required. Any relevent comments are welcome.

yup its possible........but only an expert can do it ...
i dunno how.......bur i have this huge generator at my house 30 Kv.....and my guard who happens to be from interior sindh says that it has a tractor engine in it........i laughed at him at first.........but then when the mantainence people came to chage itz oil filters n stuff......they confirmed it........soo i guess yess it is possible..........but HOW is a big question here....which only an expert can anwser
