Hi,
I want to install central locking and security system in my charade 86(4 door) but i need some info before installing it:-

1.As my cars front doors get full of water after car is washed.Due to which my front doors side boards are ruined.So will it be effecting the security system guns or should i change the full rubbers of all doors and windows?And how much will it cost me?
2.Will the security system will be effecting my battery too(battery newly installed 2 months ago)?

Other problems:-
3. I have just replaced my car engine foundations but still there is movement( u can say 20%) in gear lever when releasing accelerator.Do i need some setting of foundations?
4.I alligned my car tyres and also starighten the chamber(i don't know exact but he was saying that one side chamber also need to be set...due to which my left side tyre was a little bit out from bottom).But after that alignment and chamber setting ....tyre was in exact position and perfect allignment ..But after 1month again i noticed that left tyre is again getting out of his position and now my allignment is again out(shocks and hubs are replaced by kabli one before allignment).Now wat to do?.

Should i go for allignment again or go to mechanic?

1. When you install a security system. switches are installed in the doors. These switches need to stay dry. If they come in contact with water, they will set off the alarm. This is an annoying problem especially in rainy weather or on a cold foggy morning. So, get switches that are water proof. The switches that come with some security systems are cheap and of low quality. If you find good switches with the system then all is ok. Otherwise, you will probably need to find them from another car. Try switches from a civic or a corolla. Original switches of charade are not good enough (I've tried them). Also get the rubbers on doors replaced if they don't keep the water out.

2. Security system will not affect the battery.

3. By foundations do you mean the engine mountings?
Mountings don't need any adjustment if you get the original ones that were meant for your engine. Vibration in the gear lever is due to worn bushings of the gear lever. Have it checked out.

4. If alignment goes out after its done. It is usually because of other problems in the suspension or steering. A good mechanic will tell you this beforehand and only perform the alignment if the above things are fine. Go back to the alignment guy and ask him why the alignment is going out again.
