Suggestions regarding modifications!!

hey guy, wassap??
i bought a nissan sunny 2.0D, 2003 model!!
it has a sound engine and smoke free car!!
i was thinkin of doin sm modifications on the engine to make the car run fast!!
m not fimiliar to the modifications which can be done in a diesel car!!
what should i do??
P.S: wt would be the effect and side-effect of installing a performance exhaust in it??

kesa ha cheetay ka bacha :p dat day v were lucky that police cudnt trace out that we were also there for drag support.............and it was a tough call for nadir that day
