michellin is comparatively harder than others. plus its difficult to find a new stock tyre. most of them are there with yr 2004-05 manufacturing dates.

i am using Yokohama C-Drive. 185/65/14. tyre is soft with decent road grip. ride is comfortable and economical as well.

in islamabad....i dont think there wud be much need of goin for spare tyre. maintain air pressure (28 front, 30 rear) and visit alignment, balancing shop after a couple of months.

rear shocks are soft. with three ppl sitting on the back seat the car drops down dramatically. if this is the case, then go for the packing. rubber packings are usually of low quality and wear out fast. i wud suggest steel ones. hastle free....plus the constant weight of cylinder does effect shocks.
