Suzuki Alto Vxr 2022 fuel average

I recently purchased a brand new Alto Vxr 2022 model and achieved an average of 18 km/l on the first tank of fuel. However, I have heard that the car can provide fuel efficiency of up to 22 km/l on local drives and 27 km/l on long drives.

Currently, I am using Suzuki semi-synthetic oil, 10w-40 deluxe, and after 5k km, it is providing an average of approximately 19-18 km/l. Some individuals suggest that the car can provide better fuel efficiency after the third tuning, while others claim that 19 km/l is the maximum fuel efficiency for this car.

I have also heard from senior citizens that it can provide even higher fuel efficiency. My cars tyre pressure is 33 psi, as recommended by Suzuki personnel. I have opted for 10w-40 oil to ensure that my warranty is not void. However, Suzuki representatives advise against shifting gears early at lower rpm, stating that it may reduce engine life and power.

Congrats on your new Alto Vxr 2022! Fuel efficiency depends on many factors like driving habits, road conditions and fuel quality.

Regular tune-ups can help, but follow the manufacturers recommendations. Shifting gears at lower RPMs can help, but dont strain the engine.

Follow recommended maintenance and keep an eye on fuel efficiency. If it stays low, talk to a trusted mechanic.
