Slamz member,

i want to change the profile of my Toyota Yaris 2000, currently it have 175/65/R14 on all 4 tyres...is it possible n technicaly feasible to have 175/70/r14 on front both tyres n 195/70/r14 on back tryes...your valuable coments will be appreciated...also review the pros n cons of this idea..do let me know if there is same thin on 15" alloys.

155/80R13 - stock 578mm
175/65R14 - current 583mm (5mm larger)
175/70R14 - proposed front 601mm (23mm larger)
195/70R14 - proposed rear 629mm (51mm larger)

problems are with the sizes yuo wish to fit now, they are simply too large. if you want a fatter tyre you cna fit 185/60R14's for a PERFECT fit but anything larger and you'll have to ensure you have a perfect offset and that your suspension is in perfect condition as you'll have MAJOR issues.

however you can fit 185/55R15 (585mm) and 195/50R15 (576mm), but your fuel economy will suffer as will your acceleration and ride comfort (slightly), with very little advantage in terms of handling & braking.

my personal suggestion is to stick with what you have and NOT to fit oversized tyres to your car like many fools have done with their vitz. rest is up to you.
