The "How to" of Model codes!

The "How to" of Model codes!

VIN Vehicle identification number plate or plates tell you everything about the car, so long as you know what you're looking for, you'll find everything you need, from ordering parts to find what kind of oil you need for the differential or transfer to the place where it was made.
I referenceing model codes for Toyota, but other manufacturers use a similar coding system.
We have all heard from our friend Sand car enthusiasts call cars strange names such as EK, EC civic, the K20 engine, B16Cs etc. are all here.
Of course questions are always welcome.

Dude there is a whole science in these model codes. People who know em usually just use the code to refer to a particular model. Like here we use EE90 or AE91, CE100. I was very keen on knowing about this biz a few yrs back. Good info man.
