Three Questions

i have 1.6gli(cng) i want to ask these question

1.when one of the sensors is not working or report a fault to ecu the check engine light will come or not?

2.why check engine light doesnt come in cng because injectors are not working

3.why check engine light comes when the switch is on ignition but disappears when i start the engine(both in petrol and cng)

engine checklight flash , has a code.. once you see it blink,, , you get an electrician to decode to tell which censor has malfunction.

First of all 4afe is not designed to use with cng, by using wrong kind of fuel, you are already tampering with the ecu engine check indicator.

intially all lights come on at start position before cranking up the engine,, and if no codes are blinking means engine check is ok, or ecu is out of order which is not sending check code..

I hope yr car engine check is not rewired to oil check or battery check terminal.
