Timing Advance Processor for Carburetor Engine

Timing Advance Processor for Carburetor Engine

I have coverted my Mitsubishi Lancer 99 Model (1.3 Ltre, 4G13 Engine, 12 Valve, Carburetor Type, 5 speed Manual Transmission) into CNG. Now, i am not getting my expected performance. The engine speed is quite high in stationary position. I have used lo.gas (Italy) CNG conversion kit and Inflex (Argentina) cylinder.

Please advice, do I need to use a Timing Advance Processor?

Hello!
CARB car won't need TAP(Timing Advance Processor)........
the timing can be advanced through Distributor mechanically bu adjusting it......
as u said engine RPM's are quiet high on IDLE...so there a adjustment screw near Throttle from which u can adjust idle RPMs of engine........!
in what sense ur not getting the performance...?
Thanxxx
