Toyota Corolla Cold Start Problem

Hey everyone,

Ive got a cold start problem with my 1998 Toyota Corolla XE Saloon manual transmission, 4EFE engine. Despite attempts to fix it, the issue persists. A mechanic even replaced the throttle body, but now theres a constant high RPM after the engine warms up, causing increased fuel consumption.

Im in need of a competent mechanic o r auto electrician in Islamabad/Rawalpindi to help resolve this.

Key issues:

Cold start hesitation and rough idling.
The engine occasionally shuts down while in neutral.
Occasional misfiring.
No smoke from the engine.
