Toyota Pixis Eco Idle

Toyota Pixis Eco Idle

Asalam Alaikum
I have recently purchased the new Toyota Pixis 660cc with Eco Idle. My engine turns off when I press the brake paddle and the engine starts when I release the pressure on the brake paddle. The engine starts properly with a self-start sound. This issue occurs sometimes, but not regularly. After some configured counts of brake paddle push, Engine gets off and It only happens in D mode, not in N mode. Kindly tell me if is it usual o r not.

Congrats on your new car. Well the behavior you explained is completely normal and actually, this is called an eco idle feature. It saves fuel by turning off the engine when a car is stopped.
Nothing to worry bro good luck
