Which tyres should i buy for my Toyota 2D 2004 Model?? it has general xp2000 tyre. toyota motor is selling me 15inch rims for Rs.17000/-. Please recommend which size and brand i should go for. how about the new bridgestone potenza

Dude, its purely a matter of preference. You have to keep in mind where and under what conditions is your car driven. Spend wisely, because spending such a (relatively)large sum of money may not be able to deliver what you expected.I personally would'nt recommend anything other than the XPs. Despite what anyone says, they're built to last AND they're cheaper than the competitiors. The current Tyre size for the Corolla (non salaoon versions) is 175/70 R14 so whatever my advice is worth stick to it, I havn't been in Pakistan for a while so dunn what the market for tyres is like, but like the Yoko ES100 series, don't have any experience with potenzas.As far as "alloys" or "magwheels" or whatever go,some designs hold up better to being curbed than others and some break very easily when hitting a pothole or curb at speed.Always go for the best quality alloy wheel that you can afford and read the reports and reviews. If you do go for a different overall size you must get the suspension and tracking realigned to avoid uneven wear under acceleration.
