Hi guys! Salam...

My car,Khyebr has developed a unique issue.Its related to the water circulation.

Ok here it goes like,I fill the radiator with water,and also fills the reserve water bottle.I start car and go driving.My car shows no signs of any heat ups or anything.Fan is auto and switches on when needle is almost half way.I return home without any issue.Now the problem part,.when I STOP my car,the water reverses and moves out of the reserve bottle pipe.Water never does this If my car is in motion.it only reverses when I stop my car.

It goes like that If i go to Islamabad from abbottabad,and return back and make an occassional stop,there is almost no water loss,but If i go to bazar and stop 3-4 times,There will be more water loss.

Another thing,If the needle stays on lower end due to severe cold,the car doesnt show this problem.It only reverses when needle has been around that middle mark and Auto fan has come on 2-3 times(means Engine needs to me bit warmer).

Guys I have changed the Cap,and observe for any leaks.No such thing.I really really need advise and help.Why is that?.. A mechanic told me its gasket issue,but there is no water mixing with oil,i checked it,and Car never heats up.

What it can be?...Sorry if i made you read all this long,but im in trouble guys and need you guys help.Thanks and best regards.

you are seeing normal expansion - characteristics of water, if its pushing out water and not sucking it back in after cool down - then its a problem, you may need to check the overflow pipe for leaks.. Water is heavy and gets pushed out by pressure in the cooling system, its gets pulled back by vacuum, and if you have any sort of leak - it will suck air from that point - in effect replacing the water with air, hence empty radiator...

if it boils loudly I think you have a headgasket issue
