USE OF CNG IN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION VEHICLES

Dear all AOA,
Im in a fix and need your guidance and expertise.What do you say about the reliability and suitability of cng in automatic transmission vehicles e.g HONDA VTEC STEERMATIC or PROSMATIC etc.bcoz there is a gen myth that its not good.
Your comments will be appreciated.

you can use the search option to search for earlier discussions on the same issue...


i am myslef using a 2002 civic prosmatec on cng... and this is just a myth...

if not done properly..cng will give problems in a manual gear as well...the general rule is that... if you are converting an auto tranny to cng.. then it shud b a bigger engine...for a trouble free drive.. 1.5 exi or 1.6 vti promatec.../ se saloon../ corolla altis r best converted...

steermatic..has a very sophisticated CVT transmission.. .you dont want to ruin the company warranty for that... so install cng after warranty is over...
