Water has gone into the engine :( :(

well, ive been in lhr since the past week, as sum of u noe that it rained last evening quite heavily so the roads got flooded.... unfortunately i took out my car n on jail road there was alot of water where my car broke down due to the intake taking in water....

now the mechanics r saying that they'll hav to open its head n chek it out.... the expenditure is around 20-50k.... now if sum pros cud help me then it wud be very kind...

what shud i do??? n if i dun fix it, what cud the problems be?

there are ways of being sure..tht there is water on thetop pf the piston..

pull out ll the plug cbles... and just takeout 1 ofthe plugs...

you hve to crnk the engine.. nd sumhow narrow..the plug hole.. so thta when the engine cranks.. presssure is built up nd water spraysout of the plug hole....
if thtas happening.. then water made its way into the engine...

wat car are we talking about here.....

chances are that the the water wasa sucked infrom the tail pipe..
